Previously, Trent was an early innovator in talent marketplaces.  Since 2012, Trent has helped marketplaces across industries such as sales, marketing, software engineering, healthcare and design unlock the potential of their communities.  Trent has supported these companies in developing candidate-centric market approaches, delivering category defining experiences to market participants as well as serving in product, go to market and operations capacities.

In 2009, Trent founded the executive search firm, Constitution Group, serving large financial institutions and the booming quantitative finance sectors. Later, Trent and his team consulted for the founders of Hired, pre-Seed stage.  Hired later bought Constitution Group making Trent employee 5 at the high growth talent marketplace.  For two years, Trent built up the candidate side of the market before taking over the combined operations of the customer and candidate sides of the marketplace.  Trent was central to Hired scaling from a dozen of on platform hires and a few hundred thousand in revenue in 2012 to thousands of hires and tens of millions in revenue by 2016.

After Hired, Trent consulted at a variety of talent marketplaces, like Shift, org, Terminal and Dribbble, helping early efforts to bring marketplace dynamics to their existing communities.

Trent joined Triplebyte, another tech talent marketplace, in 2019 helping transition them from a transactional marketplace to a relational community.  Trent rebuilt the operations functions of the marketplace and helped package and sell their first SaaS product offering, which his team later grew from $0 to a $10MM ARR run rate in 2021.

At Impact, Trent served as the Head of Product, applying his experience to achieving Impact's mission of democratizing access to the entertainment industry.
